Barbara McMahon-Crabtree is a licensed physical therapist with extensive experience, advanced clinical training and a strong commitment to personalized, patient-centered care. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Fitness and Human Performance from the University of Houston and a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. She earned multiple specialized certifications including: Functional Manual Certification-Institute of Physical Art (IPA), Schroth Scoliosis SSOL Certification, Dry Needling Certification- American Academy of Manual Therapy and Visceral Mobilization Trained-Barral Institute. Early in her career, Barbara was selected as one of only 14 physical therapists in Texas to participate in a rigorous three-year manual therapy residency program within a large healthcare corporation. She applied this advanced training to both clincal practice and professional education- teaching continuing education courses throughout Texas and serving as a lab assist for the IPA across the country. Most recently, Barbara worked in a scoliosis-specialized clinic before launching PT4ME! ABQ in 2024. Her vision is to create a practice designed for clients who haven't reached their goals through conventional physical therapy or who wish to continue PT with as-needed therapeutic maintenance. PT4 ME! ABQ is a unique physical therapy practice nestled in the heart of NE Heights. This practice is dedicated to delivering one-on-one, personalized, holistic care in a quiet and private environment. Expect a comprehensive approach with Postural Restoration inspired evaluation and treatment founded in IPA Functional Therapy, Barral and Schroth Scoliosis/Kyphosis assessment and care. Treatment may include: Functional Exercises and Manual Therapy: joint, myofascial, visceral mobilization and neuromusclular re-education. PT4ME!
